Girls Who Map

Mapping who, what, when & WHERE

 Our Mission

IMG_1783.jpg

Girls Who Map, provides mapping services and geospatial resources to communities, parks, and historical sites—primarily on a pro bono basis.

Our work is sustained through gifts, donations, and grants, and we operate exclusively to support charitable and educational goals.

We believe maps can empower communities, preserve cultural heritage, and make public spaces more accessible to everyone.

What we do

Community Mapping
We partner with neighborhoods and grassroots groups to create maps that support planning, advocacy, and community storytelling.
Parks & Environmental Work
Our team develops maps for trails, gardens, wildlife habitats, and conservation projects—helping visitors connect with nature and helping organizations manage their spaces.
Historical & Cultural Sites
We help preserve and share local history through interactive maps, story maps, and digital archives that bring the past to life.
Educational Outreach
We offer workshops, youth programs, and hands‑on mapping experiences that introduce students and community members to GIS and spatial thinking.
